The Darla Series

While cleaning today, I came across a few old notes. My friend wrote me these while I was giving a report on Thomas Jefferson in History class. :)

"haha! i told you the moon was mad out of cheese!" "do i stil owe you 50 bucks?"

This series of notes also came to me with a cute page that she labeled "My First Kiss". .. And kissed it! haha it was so cute, but you couldn't really see it when i scanned it. Sorry. Anyway, stay creative!

Secret Sister

So, as many of you know, I am LDS. And whilst on girl's camp, we sometimes have 'secret sisters'. You are assigned a girl to write a note to. They can't know who you are! My secret sister did a really good job of making me feel special. And the card is way cute!

The green card came with a bag of gummy worms. How cute, right!

hey so as many of you know, this is a blog where i talk about my friends. and.. notes i get from them. :) during the summer, as many of you have probably guessed, the note-giving/recieving business is quite slow.. so bear with me, until the summer ends. i will be going to a fantastic new school that is supposed to be 95% paper-free. (so they will be providing (i think netbooks) or laptops for us to do our homework, uses text books, and email our teachers our homework ha:) so we'll see how that goes. love you all, check out the other blog, and stay fresh!

Awww Aubrey!

Today, I recieved a darling note from my wonderful Aubreyan. She was mad because I wouldn't let her write on my binder, so she grabbed my paper and wrote on it instead! I would scan it on for ya, but my printer is upstaires, and I am downstaires, and obviously lazy.

These Are Words

Every time I write my beautiful girlfriends a note. Here is the procedure: (:

-I always write on the back side of the lined paper.
-When I am done writing the note, I fold it down, and then sideways.
-When I fold it, I have to have the wide margin, usually on the top of the page, showing!
-I put: To: (NAME)
          Love: (either, ally, alexx, alexa, or me!)
-under that, i put these words: These are words, words for you!

Why, might you ask am i so specific in my note writing? I have no clue. Haha. The phrase "These are words, words for you!" comes from a poem i wrote as i was doodling a note to darla! Here it is:

These are words,
Words for you!
Oh wait a second,
They're for her too!
I love you so,
Yes! A whole ton!
Wait--come back!
Please don't run!!

Hahaha, I know, it's lame, but I love it! So now I print the first two lines onto all the notes I pass around. (lol, I'm a nerd). I hope you had fun!

the girl on the hill

Hey! Alright so believe it or not, my darling friends and i wrote yet another amazing poem. I KNOW! awesome, yess?? so here it goes:

there once was a girl who lived on a hill. a shmansy-fancy hill!

a toad came along to sing her a song but his voice stood still.

the toad was ashamed that he lost his fame, but he tried to sing none the less.

she asked him which song he was trying to sing but he just said, "guess".

so she sat on her stool and said, "mr. drool?!" but no, she was dead wrong.

she said, "is it pie?" he said, "no, so go die," but she sat there thinking a song.

It wasn't very long before she thought of another song, but as it turned out, she was again: dead wrong.
she said, "i hate this song game! just tell me the answer, or i will slap you with shame!"

he said, "it's 'i can go the distance', from that herculese guy. he also likes pie.

she said, "i like pie to! i like all the kinds accept the ones that are blue!"

it was time, she had to go, she left and ate yellow snow.

A "Final Draft"

Hey! today in theater we had a sub. so my friends and I decided that..hey, we're just supposed to be doing the final draft of our big term project, so why not screw around instead?? Our sub. was actually quite intollerant of such bander but we continued on our way despite that...fact. ha! and this was the result:
Shawn's paper entitled "Final Draft, Shawn Rickenbacker Per. 7" with the lines below filled with scribbles of four different handwritings. the scribbles, where, as follows:

Once there was a monkey in a cacoon
He lived by himself cause he was a babboon
his shoe laces were green
and he had a strong spleen
and everynight he stared at the moon.
the moon looked at him and said, "you bafoon!"
see, the moon was mean.
because he had an even stronger spleen!
so that night the bafoon prayed to the sun
and the sun just said to him: "Run."
he was angry so he pulled out a gun.
the moon simply thought that he was having fun,
but then he died and the moon laughed in his face!
muhahaha!

ha. so yeah, thats my poem. i color-coded it for you and everything! haha! so..don't ask me why i wrote "oh dear asian" ha. it was earlier, before we had started and shawn said something to me (i cant even remember what it was, aha) so i leaned over and wrote oh dear asian. if you hadn't already guessed, yes, shawn is my dear asian. haha. you gotta love him, lol! so...i love you guys! i hope you got a laugh from this here splirt!
